As part of the North American Safe Boating
Campaign, the National Safe Boating Council
is sponsoring the "Be a Survivor" essay
contest. The essay must be a personal account
about how wearing a life jacket saved the
life of the essayist or someone close to
them. The deadline for submissions is September
