General Information
The e-Visitor Update Course will only be
offered the spring of 2008. This course
informs participants on the new and revised
standards and other information pertinent
to the accreditation visit process. This
course is intended for current ACA Visitors. Visitors
are required to attend an update to remain
an eligible Visitor.
While attendance at a face-to-face course
is optimal for a variety of reasons it
is not always possible. The e-Visitor
Course prerequisites include: current membership
in ACA, completion of a Standards Course,
Standards Update or e-Standards Course,
previous completion of the Associate Visitor
Course, and current status of Visitor or
Associate Visitor.
You Choose
This electronic version of the ACA Visitor
Update Course can be taken asynchronously
allowing for increased access to the curriculum
by multiple users. The entire course
is a series of four modules ranging from
ten to thirty-five minutes in length.
Live Meeting Expectation
Participants will take the online course
and then are strongly encouraged to attend
a “LIVE” meeting coordinated
online or a face-to-face meeting with someone
from their local ACA office as determined
by their local Standards Chair or Committee.
Must Have
Participants will need Internet access
and will be given access to the course
through the ACA Standards Department.
The
local ACA offices will be kept informed
of those Visitors in their local area that
have completed the e-Visitor Update Course.
