Welcome To The First
Electronic Version Of The STANDARDS NEWSLETTER! This
is just one more way the ACA Standards
Team is "going green." We
will continue to move to a paperless program,
yet realize there is only so far we can
go.
It has been a year of "new things" for
the Standards Team: New/revised standards,
a new score form, a new scoring process,
new method for sending out the score reports
and final reports, a new method for collecting
the standards information for the section,
and new staff. Overall, it was a very successful
summer! We experienced minimal problems,
made 50 percent fewer phone calls to visitors,
received quicker responses to lapsed visitor
notices, and received all twenty-four final
section reports electronically! Much of the
credit goes to you, the ACA Visitors! We
worked through some slight challenges (missing
DNAs or line on the score form), but all
of you discovered the correct methods and
completed the score form appropriately.
We
hope you'll find the information in
this first version of the Standards e-Newsletter
useful as well as interesting. The Standards
Team is committed to communicating on a regular
basis in hopes of making sure you, the visitors,
are updated and ready for 2008! Feel free
